MEDIUM: Acrylic paint, paint markers
MY INSPIRATION: I thought of a different project (keyhole) and thought it would be fun to create something 3D and was thinking it would be a way to be inside of a space like the boat and look out into another world and the water; I like to go boating every Summer because my grandpa has a boat – I’ve always liked the look of the sunsets and thought it would be a good way to use bright bold colours and gradients
MY FAVOURITE PART OF CREATING: Usually when I’m bored I like to turn to art and learn new techniques. A lot of my friends and I love to create and draw together and I always like to try to improve and swap techniques and ideas. I think I like paint more than drawing, because I can express more with the paint and brushstrokes and bright colours. I love bold colours and bright rainbows and gradients and wanted to try to express that through my piece.
