Photo-Encaustic Workshop
with Ann Shier
You will dive into a variety of fun encaustic techniques to create a mixed-media painting, using your own photos!.
This painting medium combines molten beeswax, resin mixed with pigments and is then applied to a surface of a support.
WORKSHOP HIGHLIGHTS:
• HANDS-ON EXPERIENCE:
Learn how to create an encaustic painting in the photo-transfer process on an 6x6" cradled wood panel
• CREATIVE EXPRESSION:

Collage Workshop

In this hands-on workshop you will be shown strategies for creating collages that are seamlessly built. Go beyond the glue stick, learning techniques for gluing fine & large pieces of collage without causing material to bubble or tear.

Danielle will help you create a unique piece to take home made from original vintage magazines and books from the 1900s to 1990s
