My inspiration is both the natural and my inner world, and my goal is to create visual joy in dark times. When painting, I’m guided by instinct and curiosity, but also my years of formal art study. I thrive on the risks and problem-solving that are part of painting intuitively with only an idea and not a plan. I’m always exploring aspects like light, line, texture or balance. Each art piece evolves layer by layer. They start spontaneously but end with much attention to detail. I paint in acrylics/mixed media and love exploring this evolving medium.
