My recent work explores the emotional connection between people, water, and the quiet moments that often go unnoticed. Water has become a recurring element in my paintings, serving as both a subject and a metaphor for reflection, presence, and movement.
Working primarily in watercolour, I am drawn to the balance between detail and restraint. Through the use of light, atmosphere, and negative space, I seek to create work that invites viewers to pause, reflect, and bring their own experiences into the story.
Whether depicting a solitary figure overlooking a shoreline or the experience of moving through water by kayak, my goal is to evoke a sense of stillness, connection, and emotion.
