My work is an exploration and celebration of nature's quiet moments — those fleeting instances of stillness and subtle beauty that often go unnoticed. Through layers of spray paint, oil paint, and stencils of foraged plant material, I create intricate compositions that emphasize the delicate interplay of light and shadow.
Starting with a monochromatic base, I build depth and contrast, allowing forms to emerge organically. My process is deeply intuitive, reflecting both the structured patterns of nature and its unpredictable spontaneity. Minimalism plays a central role in my work, distilling each scene to its essence and inviting viewers to pause, reflect, and immerse themselves in a moment of tranquillity.
By capturing these serene and introspective spaces, I strive to create a sense of stillness amid the fast pace of modern life, fostering a deeper appreciation for nature's quiet presence. My work continues to evolve as I experiment with layering spray paint in both the background and foreground, exploring the interplay of minimal colour palettes and natural objects.
