Nabz Art
“Les P'tites Chaises No.35”
12” x 12”
Acrylic, Oil Stick & Mixed Media on Canvas
$300
My work explores the tension between construction, deconstruction, and reconstruction. Through colour, texture, and gesture, I transform elements inspired by the surrounding environment—landscapes, objects, fragments, and familiar forms—into metaphors for the human experience. Each work reflects a process of transformation in which traces, ruptures, and layers become carriers of memory. Balancing structure and freedom, fragility and resilience, I seek to reveal the beauty found in what evolves, breaks apart, and continuously rebuilds itself.
Drawing from the colours and textures of the environments I inhabit, I create works that invite viewers to look more closely at the overlooked details of everyday life. Whether through broken vessels, fragmented forms, landscapes, or reimagined chairs, my practice celebrates the capacity for renewal and the stories embedded within the marks of time and change.
