Statement:: Rob is a full-time artist based in Toronto, where he lives with his husband and part-time art schlepper. Since the early 2000s, he has focused entirely on his fine art practice, developing a signature style inspired by vintage advertising, retro signage, classic cinema, and camp culture. His paintings blend humour, nostalgia, and sharp cultural references to make viewers laugh, think, and occasionally do a double-take.

Rob has presented 12 full collections in more than 200 juried and solo exhibitions, including the Toronto International Art Fair, LA Art Show, The Artist Project, Toronto Outdoor Art Fair, and the One of a Kind Show. His work is part of the City of Toronto's permanent collection, and he created the artwork for the TTC's 100th anniversary. In 2026, he will complete his 2,000th painting!

His paintings appear in hundreds of private collections across North America, including those of musicians, actors, authors, and politicians. Collaborations have included projects with The Tragically Hip, The Doors, and James Brown.

Represented by 12 galleries across North America, Rob creates upbeat, witty work that mixes typography, pop culture, and the occasional political nudge - art designed to offer both escapism and a reason to smile.
