Acrylic and Resin on Gallery Wood Panel
$350
I am a Toronto-based contemporary abstract artist. My work is an exploration of the complexities of human emotions by using the power of colour and the calm fluidity of movement. Nature is my greatest muse, not only in its extraordinary colour palettes, like the fiery hues of a sunset, the brilliant iridescent plumage of birds and the delicate translucence of ocean life, but also in the effortless composition nature creates in the way flowers unfold, water traces its path, and wind shapes the landscape.
These organic rhythms guide my process, which is both intuitive and strategic, contemplating how the colours will evolve and interact with each other as I use air to push fluid acrylic paint across the canvas. This allows for a natural flow to develop, with a glass-like resin finish to enhance both the vibrancy and depth, creating art that feels alive, evoking both motion and stillness, finding beauty in the unpredictable flow of life.
