Lesley Luce

Lesley Luce’s goal is for viewers to be captivated from afar and rewarded up close, uncovering a layered narrative that invites and celebrates curiosity.

Her work explores cultural memory and hidden histories, driven by her own curiosity and designed to spark it in others.

As a Canadian mixed-media artist, she brings these ideas to life through intricate concentric circles, each composed by hand-placing thousands of tiny paper fragments, each one a detail, a clue, a piece of the story.

Lesley holds an Honours Fine Arts degree from Queen’s University and postgraduate certificates in Graphic Design (OCAD) and Public Relations (Humber College). She lives with her young family in the Beaches Neighbourhood of Toronto, Canada.

Each piece comes with a companion booklet, acting as a legend to uncover the source images and stories behind the details.
