Sandy Middleton has worked as both a commercial and art photographer for over 25 years. She graduated from Ryerson University with a BAA in still photography and continued her education and work in the design field.
Sandy’s photographic work is focused on imagery dealing with identity, memory, family and found materials.
Sandy has been an active member of the Niagara Arts community with work on boards for the Niagara Artists Centre (NAC) and Essential Collective Theatre Company. She sits on the Culture Committee for the City of St. Catharines and is a juror on the St. Catharines Cultural Investment Program (SCCIP)
Additionally she was a partner at the Jordan Art Gallery for four years and has shown her work throughout Niagara and in galleries and arts fairs in Toronto including the Toronto Outdoor Art Exhibition, The Artist Project and Love Art Fair. She was nominated in the Established Artist Category for the 2016 St. Catharines Arts Awards.
Her work can be found in public and private collections in Canada and the U.S.
