He then pairs these images with quotes drawn from movies, television, or other forms of pop culture, inserting them into the signs to create new, thought-provoking narratives.
Drawing on nostalgia, pop culture, and satire, Rob’s work is instantly recognizable for its wit and visual punch. Over his career, he has created nearly 900 works and exhibited in close to 100 shows across Canada and the U.S. His art has been featured in Bomb Girls, included in the City of Toronto’s permanent collection, and commissioned by collectors nationwide.
